This is just pure formula romancey for me. There is doubts in Juliet and her sisters head of their brother's guilt.īut he is now missing and thought to be dead, so they just need those sisters married off. Christian is the Marquess and helped in the conviction of Juliet's father and older brother. Juliet is having a hard time and she know needs Christian's help. Vicars!!! Oops, sorry I totally have Joey from friends forever burned in my head when vicars get involved. I know they won't find lords I had hoped for vicars. I had nearly a thousand pounds set aside so my sisters might have a chance at a decent marriage. She has been selling everything the family owned and trying to get by. She is taking care of her family after her father and brother are found guilty of treason. She is fiesty and really for a romance book she sets a pretty decent standard.

I don't want to distract people from reading this book and series. Judith is not a bad character at all though. I think I've read too many stabbing, killing and porny mayhem books though. I used to read historical romance, and I liked it at the time. I may need an Netgalley intervention quicker than I thought.

I've heard lots of good stuff about this author though and when I saw this book go up on Netgalley I about broke my finger requesting it.
